Strategic Operations

Build systems that scale with your vision, not against it.

At the growth stage, operational complexity compounds fast. Org design, executive hiring, leadership transitions, board and investor relations, and business development strategy all demand attention at once. And often before you’ve had time to build the infrastructure to handle any of them well.  I help leaders create the decision-making clarity and operational scaffolding needed to run a more complex company without losing what made the company work in the first place. This isn’t about installing a generic system. It’s about building the right one for where you actually are.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Leaders managing rapid headcount or org structure growth

  • Founders navigating a leadership transition or sensitive CEO hire

  • Post-Series A or B companies scaling their exec team for the first time

  • Portfolio companies with high growth but low operational maturity

What this work includes

  •  Organizational design and right-sizing for your stage

  • Executive hiring support, including CEO search and transition

  • OKR design, performance rhythms, and board-ready reporting

  • Board and investor relations strategy

  • Business development and partnership strategy

Pivot Planning

Strategic guidance when the stakes are highest.

The pivots that work aren’t panic moves, they’re strategic evolutions. For leaders who have already built something real, a pivot carries higher stakes: more investors to bring along, more team members affected, more to lose if the repositioning misses.  I serve as the thinking partner who helps you move on conviction rather than pressure. We work through what’s actually happening beneath the presenting problem, what the right move is given your specific constraints, and how to bring your investors, board, and team along with you.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Founders facing a market shift or failed product bet

  • Leaders needing to reposition the business without losing stakeholder trust

  • CEOs who know a pivot is right but can’t figure out how to explain it to investors

  • Growth-stage companies whose model needs to evolve to support the next round

What this work includes

  • Market repositioning analysis and strategy

  • Business model redesign

  • Revenue strategy reset

  • Stakeholder and investor communication planning

  • Scenario planning and decision support

Fundraising Strategy

Navigate later-stage funding with confidence. Approach the right partners with clarity.

At the growth stage, the fundraising conversation shifts. Expectations are higher, scrutiny is deeper, and narrative precision matters more than ever. Investors at this stage aren’t just evaluating your product, they’re evaluating your judgment, your market understanding, and your ability to lead a company at scale.  I help you shape how the story lands across every investor touchpoint. We work through investor targeting, pitch positioning, and materials strategy so you’re going into the process with a clear point of view, not just a deck.

WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Founders preparing for a Series A, B, or growth round

  • Leaders who need to sharpen their narrative before re-engaging investors

  • CEOs whose pitch isn’t landing and aren’t sure why

  • Portfolio companies referred by their lead investors for fundraising support

What this work includes

  • Pitch narrative development and positioning

  • Investor targeting and outreach strategy

  • Pitch deck and materials review

  • Investor Q&A preparation and signal reading

  • Strategic counsel throughout the fundraising process

How the work is structured

Every engagement begins with Phase One — a six-week diagnostic that maps the landscape before we address the problem. From there, most clients move into ongoing partnership.

Phase One — The Landscape

SIX WEEKS Ā· THREE SESSIONS Ā· WRITTEN SYNTHESIS

We map the full landscape of your situation: pressures, stakeholders, history, what’s been tried, what’s been avoided. I synthesize what I hear into a written deliverable, a reframed problem, working hypotheses, and recommended focus areas. And then we decide together whether to continue.

Phase Two — Ongoing Partnership

SIX MONTHS Ā· BIWEEKLY SESSIONS Ā· DEFINED ACCESS

Standing 90-minute sessions, same day and time, agenda driven by whatever’s most pressing. Real work on real materials: document review, deck feedback, board prep, response shaping. Defined between-session access so the work doesn’t stop when the call ends

Working with funds and accelerators

If you have portfolio companies navigating operational scale, a fundraising process, or a critical pivot, I’d welcome the conversation about how to support them. I work as a trusted resource you can refer founders to, or embed directly into a cohort. I never compete with your value-add. I deepen it.

No frameworks for their own sake.

Every engagement is shaped by what you actually need.
